I believe that there are two that would be beneficial to education. The first being changing the scope, frequency and purpose of testing. Right now, there is too much emphasis placed on testing and how it shows that the educator has failed if a child doesn't do well. I do believe that testing is necessary, but I do not believe that needs to be the only way that we have students demonstrate mastery of a skill or concept. Moe hands on learning and out-of -the-box assessments/demonstrations as well as teaching would benefit more students.

I also feel that more time to collaborate is crucial to us truly making the biggest difference in our students' lives. If we are able to work, cross curriculum as well as with same content colleagues, we get the best of each person's unique perspective and teaching styles.
