Has anyone heard of Diane Ravitch's The Death and Life of the Great American School System? I'm thinking about doing this for the Book Circle study in February, 2013... Please reply with comments!

I think The Outliers book you suggested sounds really interesting.
Also, being a psychology teacher and the brain being one of my favorite areas of study, I always love reading about brain-based learning. Eric Jensen is excellent.

I just read the description of The Death and Life of the Great American School System and i think it would be a great book for our book circle!
